BRUKER GREENHOUSE GAS AND AIR QUALITY ANALYZERS
Real-time high precision concentration analyzers for the measurement of greenhouse gases and air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, HONO, SO2, O3, HCHO and other in an atmospheric background at parts-per-billion (ppb) sensitivity with negligible drift.
Bruker offers advanced gas analysis systems based on two complementary technologies: quantum cascade laser (QCL) absorption spectroscopy for the MIRO MGA series, and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy for the OMEGA 5 and MATRIX II-MG analyzers. MIRO systems enable high-precision, real-time measurements of greenhouse gases and air pollutants, with ppt-level precision, simultaneous multi-gas analysis and measurement frequencies of up to 10 Hz, making them suitable for ambient air monitoring, climate research, eddy covariance and mobile applications. The OMEGA 5 is a fully automated, rack-mounted FT-IR gas analyzer featuring a heated 5 m. multi-reflection gas cell, designed for routine industrial gas analysis and continuous process monitoring. The MATRIX II-MG is a configurable, high-performance FT-IR platform offering different gas cell lengths and detector options for demanding applications, including trace gas analysis, emission monitoring, gas purity control and complex gas mixtures. Both FT-IR platforms use Bruker's OPUS GA software to identify and quantify hundreds of gas compounds using reference spectra, without requiring calibration measurements to establish quantification methods.
MATRIX II-MG Series
The MATRIX II-MG Series comprises four high-performance FT-IR gas analyzers in a compact and rugged housing. They are designed for the automated, high precision and real-time monitoring of gas concentrations in many different applications. Whatever application you have in mind, you can configure the system to your needs:
- variety of different detector types are available: detectors with exceptional sensitivity (liquid-nitrogen- or Stirling-cooled MCT), detectors with extended spectral range (DLaTGS) or detectors when liquid nitrogen is unavailable but low detection limits are yet required (TE-MCT)
- superior spectral resolution facilitates the analysis of complex gas mixtures characterized by numerous overlapping infrared signatures
- OPUS GA software enables the quantification of over 350 compounds without the need for calibration measurements
- high-pressure option provides the capability to conduct gas measurements at pressures of up to 15 bar (standard: up to 2 bar) for temperatures up to 30 °C
- applications: air quality, atmospheric science, emission monitoring, industrial process monitoring, trace gas analysis & gas purity control
OMEGA 5 analyzer
The OMEGA 5 is designed for automated, high-precision, and real-time monitoring of gas concentrations across various aplications.
